Work In Progress Wednesday - August 21

Last week I shared my bare tree for the cover of my fabric book Trees. This week
I stitched detached chain stitch leaves with DMC color variations perle 5. It was so much fun to see this tree grow with every new stitch. I’m very happy with the result!
Take a closer look at my tree here.

  1. Oh, I love the green tree and understand how much fun it must have been to see the leaves sprout.

    1. Ja, de boomstam heb ik van een stuk batik gemaakt. De onderkant is gerimpeld, de takken gedraaid.

    1. I like the variegated DMC in perle 5, but I couldn't find it in my country. So I have to find it online. Most shops in The Netherlands only have stranded floss and normal perle 5!
